New from fall semester 2026: BSc and MSc
Starting in the fall semester of 2026, the major study programs in Computational Linguistics and Language Technology will be offered with the academic degrees Bachelor of Science or Master of Science, respectively. The new degrees are as follows:
- Bachelor, Major 120: Bachelor of Science UZH in Computerlinguistik
- Master, Major 90: Master of Science UZH in Computerlinguistik
Current students who began their studies up to and including the spring semester of 2026 will complete their studies with the current Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Master of Arts (MA) degrees.
It is possible to change to the new study programs in order to obtain the new Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degrees without meeting new requirements or lose credits already earned. This change can be made as a regular change of study program in May 2026.
