Measuring intra-speaker variability in different speaking styles

Speakers can modify their speech depending on the situation or their interlocutor. In this project we ask how speakers modify their speech according to speaking style. A group of speakers was recorded telling a story in two different styles, read vs spontaneous. The goal of the thesis will be to examine phonetic features that are variable or stable across speaking styles within speakers.
