Eye movement generation
Supervisor: David R. Reich
Summary
Eye-movement generation is the modeling or simulation of how humans move their eyes, such as saccades, fixations, and smooth pursuits, when reading text or looking at visual scenes. It reveals temporally precise, but indirect and non-invasively, the underlying cognitive processes like attention and perception. In this project, the student extends existing models in one of several directions:
- Improve generation
- Generalize generation
- Explain generation
