Study regulations ("Rechtsgrundlagen") of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Zurich
For a general introduction to studying at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, we recommend that you first consult the General Study Guide [1]. It explains the most important rules, procedures, and resources for planning and organizing your studies.
The Faculty’s Studies pages [2] provide further information and access to important study-related documents [3]. The legally binding framework for your studies is provided by the Faculty’s Legal Basis (Rechtsgrundlagen) [4], which includes the framework ordinance, the study regulations, and the program-specific annexes.
Binding Regulations for the Master's degree programs
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences maintains the official documents for all Master's study programs on its Master Documents page. This includes the program-specific regulations and study documents for Computational Linguistics and Language Technology and Digital Linguistics. Academic Integrity and Use of AI
Academic integrity is a fundamental requirement for all assessed work at the Department of Computational Linguistics, including written work, programming projects, bachelor's and master's theses. Students must complete their work independently, use only permitted aids, appropriately acknowledge sources and contributions by others, and transparently document the use of generative AI where required.
