Our paper “Digital Comprehensibility Assessment of Simplified Texts among Persons with Intellectual Disabilities” was accepted for publication at the 2024 ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI'24). The paper presents an evaluation study of text comprehensibility including participants with and without intellectual disabilities reading unsimplified, automatically and manually simplified German texts. This was a collaboration with researchers from the University of Teacher Education in Special Needs (HfH) and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
