Eye-tracking based biometrics

Human eye movements are driven by a highly complex interplay between voluntary and involuntary processes related to oculomotor control, high-level vision, cognition, and attention. A large body of psychological evidence shows that eye movements are highly individual. We exploit these individual characteristics and develop machine learning-based methods for eye-tracking based biometric identification.

This research is conducted in collaboration with the AEye research group.
