Evening Events
On Tuesday, August 30th, 18.00 - 19.00, there will be a Special Session on “Industrial Applications of CL.” Two representatives of companies will give short presentations on how Natural Language Processing plays an important role in their business.
- Roberto Nespeca, Teamleader Document Management, finnova AG Bankware, a company developing and marketing modular bankware,
- Dr. Jochen L. Leidner, Senior Research Scientist, Thomson Reuters Global Resources, a leading provider of information for businesses and professionals.
This event will take place in room 2.A.1.
After the presentations, the Institute of Computational Linguistics will offer a modest aperitif (ending around 20.00).
On Monday, September 5th, 18.00 - 19.00, we will organise a Panel Discussion with speakers of the Fall School and guests, on the topic Perspectives on Computational Linguistics. Where will CL be in ten years' time?
