I am a PhD student in the POLCON project headed by Hanspeter Kriesi. In my PhD project, I work on automated extraction of politically relevant events (with a focus on public protest). I am also involved in work on computational morphology.

I did my masters in computational linguistics at the University of Tübingen, Germany. I studied general and applied linguistics at Moscow State Linguistic University. Some random fun facts: I was a member of the old Daltaí na Gaeilge board, and I am a drummer.
